Welcome friends to Herd Stock Kennels the home of A.K.C, A.S.C.A and W.A.S.A. registered working Australian shepherds. Our dogs have been hand selected primarily from the three most national trial winning line's Hangin tree, Vest and Woods.
We have a great deal of respect for those that both developed these lines and those that preserve them, meeting the needs of real world, hard working, farmers and ranchers alike, along with the trial enthusiast and first time novelist's.

Our site offers information, advice, as well as dogs and puppies available. We are located in the Chippewa river valley of the dairy state of Wisconsin and we are excited as each day brings us closer to our goals. We have been raising the Australian shepherds now for five years and have found them to be a very versatile breed, ranging any where from service, agility, to beautiful conformation, and an all around loyal companion, but our primary goal at Herd Stock Kennels is to remain dedicated to producing, preserving, and promoting the versatile working Australian shepherd.

We believe that maintaining the herding instinct in our breed is of the utmost importance, so it may do the job it was intended to do, while still breeding for structure, soundness, temperament, health and athletic ability. Herd Stock Kennels strives to produce dogs that are mentally sound, correct, intelligent and conform to the breed standard and most importantly possess working instincts which is what this breed is all about.
